Aim and Scope
Asia-Pacific Workshop on Mixed and Augmented Reality (APMAR) promotes the mixed reality research and collaborations in the Asian/Oceanic region. The aim of this workshop is to create opportunities for sharing and exchanging research results and practical experiences in this exciting field in an informal atmosphere.
There are two options for presentation at APMAR.
One is "Regular Paper" and the other is "Pitch Your Work Presentation".
Regular Paper
We are soliciting for "Regular Papers" in the following sub-fields of MR/AR but not limited to:
AI for MR/AR/XR

Regular paper includes long paper more than 10 pages (excluding references) and Short paper with 5-9 pages (excluding references).
Both full and short papers must be in English and should be formatted to use the uniform CEURART style for the papers (the 1-column style).
The CEURART styles for this submission can be found from CEURART-for-APMAR2025.zip(※1) as well as for Overleaf (※2).
Warning: The CEURART style for this year differs from the one used last year (APMAR2024). This year 1-column style is used this year. Please be sure to use the latest version provided on this page.
※1: When using Word or LaTeX versions provided by CEURART-for-APMAR2025.zip, please ensure that the Libertinus fonts are installed. These fonts are not pre-installed on most computers and must be embedded in the compiled PDF. Instructions for installation are included in the section “3. Installing the Libertinus fonts” within the template file.
※2: When using the Overleaf template, please update the conference information as follows;
\copyrightyear{2025}
\conference{APMAR'25: The 17th Asia-Pacific Workshop on Mixed and Augmented Reality, Sep. 26-27, 2025, Busan, South Korea}
After peer review, the accepted regular paper will be published in Open-Access Proceedings for Computer Science Workshops (CEUR Workshop Proceedings).
Pitch Your Work Presentation
While brand-new work is highly welcome, we also encourage submissions of previously published work, ongoing research, late-breaking results, and work scheduled to be presented elsewhere. Presentations in the "Pitch Your Work" track will not be formally published through the workshop. This approach allows for the sharing and reiteration of more updated and significant work.
For these submissions, APMAR will provide participants with a list of presentation titles along with abstracts (and links to already published papers on platforms such as IEEE Xplore, ACM DL, online journals, arXiv, etc., if desired).
Please note that there will be no formal peer review for this track; however, submissions will undergo a light committee review for appropriateness and relevance.
